In life, as in fashion - the unexpected can make all the difference. Somewhere between the discovery of our grandmother's beautifully aged, ostrich purse and a fateful girls trip to the Klein Karoo, Muja Atelier was born in 2018. One year later, we manufactured our first sample.

Fast forward a couple of years and we are truly carving our own path in the luxury market. We stand out by being a little more playful and contemporary in our product DNA than other exotic brands. We design and craft bags that not only last, but become more beautiful with time, gracefully aging, just like our grandmother’s.

An homage to the attention to detail of vintage luxury goods, reimagined with new vibrancy through a modern palette, hand crafted details and a provenance close to both our hearts.
